The Spark of Hope Foundation (USA) helps exceptional young women from the Global South, particularly those from conflict-affected, remote and underserved communities, gain access to post-secondary education.
Our focus is on bright young women who demonstrate academic ability and leadership potential but lack the financial means to pursue a quality university education.
We provide financial support, primarily in partnership with Spark of Hope Foundation Canada and its university and on-the-ground partners. Through this broader Spark of Hope model, donor support is typically leveraged approximately five times through partner and university contributions.
With a university education, these young women can go on to become doctors, engineers, scientists, researchers, entrepreneurs, educators, lawyers and leaders whose impact extends far beyond themselves.
